Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with cancellations, telephone inquiries, mail requests, and other services as needed
- Binding, filing, and data entry to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping
- Ordering policies and requesting endorsements from the company as required
- Providing policy verification assistance to ensure seamless transactions
- Updating Certificates of Insurance to reflect changes and updates
- Requesting Loss Runs to facilitate claims processing
- Resolving client issues in a timely and effective manner, providing solutions and support when needed
- Ordering renewal and expiration lists as required, reviewing lists to determine appropriate actions
- Typing proposals for producers to present to clients and maintaining client files
- Entering client information into our agency management system
- Gathering data for proposals and applications, reconciling and verifying policy information to ensure accuracy
- Collaborating with clients to resolve claim problems, process endorsements, and provide proof of coverage, including certificates of insurance
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or higher
- Proficient data entry skills, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- Organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe and other relevant software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a self-starter mentality and a willingness to take on new challenges
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of personal lines products and services
- Familiarity with agency management systems and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
