Role Overview The Clinical Informatics Manager is responsible for serving as the bridge between clinical operations and technology teams that improve clinical workflows, optimize healthcare systems, enhance data integrity, and support high-quality patient care. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Operations, the role is responsible for cross collaboration to drive process improvement, support data-informed decision-making, and ensure effective adoption of healthcare technology solutions. This is a fully remote role designed for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven virtual care environment. Schedule & Employment Type

- Shifts Available 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST
Roles and Responsibilities The Clinical Informatics Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders facilitating continuity of care and cross-functional communication. Their roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical informatics initiatives that improve efficiency, patient outcomes, and user experience
- Partner with internal stakeholders to optimize clinical systems and technology platforms
- Support quality improvement, implementation, testing, optimizations, and maintenance of EHRs and other clinical applications
- Analyze clinical workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user metrics.
- Participate in change management and workflow redesign initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to align informatics strategies with organizational goals
- Maintain effective communication across clinical and non-clinical teams
- Assist with reporting and clinical operational analytics
Requirements: Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- RN license preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical informatics experience
- Experience with EHR systems, clinical applications, and healthcare technology platforms
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and operational processes
- Experience managing projects
- Experience in value-based care, care management, telehealth, and virtual care models
- Knowledge of quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and assessment skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and asynchronous communication skills
- Comfortable working independently while remaining engaged with a remote team
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced health-tech startup environment
Technical & Work Environment Requirements
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Athena preferred), Google Workspace tools
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps)
- Quiet, private home workspace suitable for HIPAA-sensitive video calls
Professionalism & Communication
- Able to demonstrate effective interpersonal, oral, written, and listening communication skills.
- Must be able to work effectively in a remote environment by taking initiative, go above and beyond to delight patients, be actively involved in process improvement, and be reliably available during determined shifts.
- Able to learn new systems and workflows quickly and speedily adapt nursing in the virtual care start-up environment.
