AutoCAD Designer (Temporary)
Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated AutoCAD Designer to support a project-based assignment in Johnson City, TX. This temporary role will focus on updating and creating floor plans, evacuation maps, assembly drawings, and schematics across multiple locations. The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with a mix of remote work, office collaboration, and field visits.
Responsibilities:
• Update and modify existing AutoCAD floor plans and schematics
- Travel to multiple sites to verify layouts and gather field data
- Create evacuation maps, furniture layouts, and assembly drawings
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders
- Provide drafting support for project planning and executive approvals
- Review and update line drawings of construction assemblies and material guides
- *Qualifications:**
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- MEP experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation required
