Job Responsibilities:

As a Hotel Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their queries, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operating the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, as well as managing guest requests and complaints.
  • Selling tickets to shows, events, and activities, and providing information on local attractions and services.
  • Assisting guests with luggage, transportation, and other needs, and providing general information about the hotel and its services.
  • Resolving minor conflicts and advising supervisors of more serious concerns for resolution.
  • Operating various office machines and equipment, including cash drawers, credit card machines, and PBX systems.
  • Posting charges and payments, and maintaining accurate records of guest transactions.
  • Providing communication assistance in medical and fire emergencies, and responding to guest requests for assistance.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and following hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required upon appointment.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
  • A physical examination may be required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various hours of the day and week when required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Progressively responsible work experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Good customer service skills, with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy when interacting with people.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct manner.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the OPERA system.

Education:

This role does not have an education qualification requirement.
