Job Summary:

The Customer Care Specialist will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, answering inquiries, resolving problems, and fulfilling requests while maintaining database integrity in the Staff PM System. You will also assist the Data Entry/Reporting team in monitoring and effectively maintaining the volume of all DHP Credentialing mailboxes. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers via phone and email

  • Resolve problems and answer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records and database integrity in the Staff PM System
  • Assist the Data Entry/Reporting team in monitoring and maintaining DHP Credentialing mailboxes
  • Follow up with DHPs on credentialing requests and applications
  • Notify facilities on a monthly basis of DHPs that do not respond to credentialing requests
  • Maintain production and quality standards, and participate in special projects as needed

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and terminology
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Experience with Staff PM System or similar database management systems

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
