Experienced Customer Service Representative – Medicaid & Provider Support Specialist

Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to inbound calls from members and providers, providing accurate and helpful information regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization, and program details.
  • Maintaining a reliable internet connection with a secure Ethernet link. Wi-Fi is not permitted.
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional service.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on Medicaid and federal health insurance programs.
  • Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality objectives.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality objectives.
  • A dedicated home workspace and the ability to work independently.
  • A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to meeting customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience working in a call center environment and familiarity with Medicaid and federal health insurance programs are highly desirable.
