About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Agent. As a fully remote agent, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers in the Electricity industry. Your primary goal will be to respond to incoming customer service calls, resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner, and provide top-notch customer experiences that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Incoming Customer Service Calls: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve customer issues, and provide accurate and timely solutions to customer problems.
- Research Account Status and Identify Account Issues: Research customer accounts to identify issues, resolve billing disputes, and ensure accurate account information.
- Address Billing Inquiries and Resolve Billing Disputes: Respond to customer billing inquiries, resolve billing disputes, and ensure accurate billing information.
- Process Disconnection and Re-connection Requests: Process customer requests for disconnection and re-connection of electricity services.
- Enroll Customers and Resolve Enrollment Issues: Enroll customers in our services and resolve any issues related to enrollment.
- Initiate Collection Activity on Past Due Accounts: Initiate collection activity on past due accounts and process disconnection and re-connection requests.
- Serve as a Customer Advocate: Serve as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this role.
- Outstanding Phone Etiquette and Polished Communication Skills: Excellent phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for this role.
- Excellent Listening Skills: Strong listening skills are required to understand customer concerns and provide accurate solutions.
- Ability to Maintain a Calm Demeanor: Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers is essential for this role.
- Attentive to Detail and Committed to High-Quality Customer Service: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality customer service are required for this role.
- Strong Quantitative, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Willingness to Identify Problems and Suggest Process Improvements: Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in Windows Environment and MS Word and Excel Applications: Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications is required for this role.
- Comfortable in a Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace is essential for this role.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 Year of Experience in an Inbound Call Center Environment: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred.
- Experience within the Retail Electricity Industry: Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred.
- Experience in Similar Markets: Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred.
