Key Responsibilities:

As a Remote Ramp Agent (Customer Service Agent), you will be responsible for:

  • Securely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting cargo, mail, and baggage to and from aircraft, while ensuring optimal connections by guiding arriving and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
  • Protecting cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
  • Operating ground equipment such as dollies, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
  • Using cargo scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of cargo to its destination.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: hearing protection, safety toe footwear, defensive headwear (hard hat or cap), and high visibility safety clothing.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to lift, push, pull, and move cargo and equipment up to 50-70 pounds.
