Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team, providing support to members of our Medicare Advantage plan. As a key member of our contact center team, you will be responsible for managing inbound calls, resolving member inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, utilizing our state-of-the-art technology and comfortable virtual workspace. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to members of our Medicare Advantage plan, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Demonstrating empathy and understanding when interacting with our senior population, using active listening skills to ensure their needs are met.
- Accurately documenting all calls, ensuring that each interaction is thoroughly recorded and reflected in our system.
- Meeting and exceeding contact center targets for call management, quality, and adherence to schedule, consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Managing all calls with professionalism, escalating issues to the next level when necessary and ensuring seamless resolution.
Operational Hours
Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-8pm EST, with varying shifts available within these hours. During open enrollment, our operational hours may include weekends as part of the work shift.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid customer service, with a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices.
- 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment, with proficiency in using QNXT and other relevant software applications.
- Member Service knowledge, HIPAA, Claims, and Provider Services knowledge, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- High School graduate or GED, with a 2-4 year undergraduate degree or certificate preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in using dual monitors, multiple applications, and phone simultaneously, with strong keyboard skills and accuracy in data entry.
What We Offer
arenaflex offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as eligibility for our discretionary annual incentive program.
