Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Customer Support Representative, you will play a vital role in our team, providing top-notch support to our customers during weekend overnight shifts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working overnight weekend shifts (approximately 10pm-7am Friday and Saturday nights) to provide customer support via phone, email, and other channels
- Configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless network issues for customers, including connecting standard consumer electronic devices
- Providing education on our products and services, recommending solutions to meet customer needs, and conducting follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction
- Replying to customer email inquiries, working with customers to sign up for new services, and resolving basic billing issues
- Troubleshooting advanced networking protocols within our company network
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Previous networking or telephone customer service/support experience
- A basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and consumer wireless routers
- High ethical standards, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction
- The ability to solve problems with patience and a positive approach, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
