Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry & Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Perform order entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency: You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient orders into our electronic medical records system.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing: You will work closely with our pharmacists and other team members to ensure that medications are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner: You will be the first point of contact for our patients and clients, and you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and responding to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Triage customer service requests, prioritizing urgency and information/response required: You will be responsible for triaging customer service requests and prioritizing them based on urgency and the information/response required.
- Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions: You will be responsible for accurately calculating and verifying the correct dosages of medications based on prescriptions.
- Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions and ensuring timely processing: You will assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions and ensuring that they are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records, including patient demographics, medical history, and medication lists.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician (or as required by state law): You will need to be certified, licensed, or registered as a pharmacy technician, or meet the requirements of your state.
- At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a call center environment: You will need to have at least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a call center environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills: You will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional patient care and respond to customer inquiries.

Preferred Qualifications
