About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who is genuinely fascinated by social media culture, trends, and the psychology behind why certain brands take off online. This role is ideal for college students seeking internship credit who want hands-on experience in creative strategy, content creation, and brand storytelling. You’ll work closely with the founder on real client projects, helping brands strengthen and elevate their presence across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. This isn’t just about posting content, it’s about learning how to analyze a brand’s current presence, identify opportunities for growth, and creatively develop content strategies that feel fresh, human, and culturally relevant. As our Social Media Intern, you’ll gain real-world experience in social strategy, creative direction, content planning, and short-form video editing while receiving mentorship and guidance throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client social media pages and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Create short presentations, one-pagers, or pitch decks outlining social media recommendations and creative strategies
• Research trends, niches, creators, and viral content formats across Instagram and TikTok
• Assist in developing social media calendars, content concepts, captions, and profile optimizations
• Design and create branded social content for clients
• Edit short-form video content/Reels using provided footage and assets
• Explore AI tools and editing techniques to create seamless, engaging content that still feels authentic and human
• Stay ahead of evolving social media trends, sounds, aesthetics, and platform behaviors
• Collaborate on brainstorming sessions and creative campaigns

Ideal Candidate

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, Media, or a related creative field
• Passionate about social media, internet culture, and digital trends
• Understands what makes content engaging on Instagram and TikTok
• Familiar with editing Reels/TikToks using apps such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools
• Has an eye for aesthetics, branding, and storytelling
• Curious about how creators and brands build online communities and viral moments
• Entrepreneurial-minded, self-motivated, and open to feedback
• Organized, reliable, and excited to grow within a small but ambitious creative studio
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation/editing tools is a plus
