Managing Director, Input Financing - Agriculture
Growers Edge is seeking an experienced Managing Director, Input Finance - Agriculture to lead and scale a key business line within the organisation. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for strategy, execution, and profit and loss performance. This position is suited to a commercially driven leader with deep expertise in agricultural finance or input financing, who can identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and deliver measurable business growth. The role will focus on expanding Growers Edge’s input financing offering across agricultural retailers, manufacturers, and strategic partners, while supporting broader company growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the input financing business line, with accountability for strategy, growth, execution, and P&L performance
- Build and manage relationships with agricultural retailers, manufacturers, and strategic partners
- Identify market opportunities and develop scalable financing solutions aligned to partner needs
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue, profitability, and market share
- Assess partner financial requirements, credit profiles, and risk considerations
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, credit, product) to support go-to-market strategy and product development
- Monitor portfolio performance, including forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis
- Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders to deliver strong partner outcomes
- Represent the business externally and act as a trusted advisor within the agricultural sector
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Agribusiness, or related field
- Significant experience in agricultural finance, lending, credit, or input financing
- Strong understanding of agricultural markets and partner economics
- Proven experience in a senior commercial or general management role with P&L exposure
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including risk assessment and portfolio management
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
