Virtual School Social Worker - Las Vegas, NV Remote Student Support Services
Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required. Core Responsibilities In this role, you will: Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans Provide individual and group counseling through secure video platforms Implement crisis intervention strategies and safety planning procedures Collaborate with teachers, families, and community partners Maintain accurate case documentation and progress tracking Participate in virtual IEP meetings and educational planning processes Provide professional consultation on social-emotional learning initiatives Facilitate virtual parent education and family support sessions Coordinate referrals to community resources and external services Support school-wide mental health and wellness initiatives Student Population Focus You'll work with students experiencing: Emotional regulation and coping skill deficits Family instability and environmental stressors Behavioral challenges affecting academic performance Social isolation and peer relationship difficulties Mental health concerns including anxiety and depression Trauma-related symptoms and recovery needs Attendance and engagement barriers Required Credentials and Experience Master's degree in Social Work from CSWE-accredited program Active Nevada School Social Worker licensure Minimum 2 years of experience in school social work settings Demonstrated competency in virtual service delivery Proficiency with technology platforms and digital tools Strong assessment and intervention skills Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles Understanding of special education laws and procedures Technology and Equipment High-speed internet and reliable computer system Professional home office space for confidential sessions Webcam, headset, and necessary peripheral equipment Comfort with virtual platforms and electronic documentation systems If interested, apply here or contact: Jordan Balkcom 470-518-0913 Salary: USD 36000 - 60000 per year Experience: 5 years required Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
