Career.aliyucares is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated QA Engineer to join our fully remote team. In this pivotal work-from-home role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our innovative software products. As a core member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies to identify and resolve defects, ensuring our applications are robust, reliable, and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Identify, document, track, and prioritize bugs and defects using appropriate bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product architecture and ensure testability of features.
• Implement and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to project stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and collaborate with developers on resolutions.
• Stay current with new testing tools, strategies, and technologies.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance engineering.
• Strong proficiency in designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
• ISTQB certification or similar.
