arenaflex is building the "financial OS for senior care," aiming to simplify the complex process of managing payments for senior living operators and families. Our mission is to make managing money for senior living easy, so our customers can focus on providing quality housing and care. About the Role:
As a Customer Operations Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth payment processing, managing data quality, and supporting our customers. This is an early Operations role at arenaflex, offering ample opportunities to shape the direction of the team and contribute to our growth. If you're comfortable working directly with customers, enjoy diving into data, and are passionate about solving problems, this could be the perfect fit.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth payment cycles and manage data quality to ensure payment accuracy
- Monitor payment health and track reports for payment coverage and issues, intervening to resolve discrepancies
- Handle failed payments by reviewing and resolving root causes
- Manage customer payment plans, coordinating and communicating with customers to ensure timely collections
- Provide exceptional customer support via phone and email, ensuring issues are fully resolved to prevent recurrence
- Shape the future of operations by helping grow and develop our operations team over time
What We Expect from You:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of work experience (or 4+ years without a degree)
- Startup experience in operations or customer support
- Proficiency using Excel to manage data sets
- Strong attention to detail, especially with financial information
- Experience in customer service and working directly with customers
- Experience or interest in A/R management, billing, payments, or collections

- Working hours: 12pm – 8pm EST M-F
