About the Role

arenaflex's Strategic Comp division is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative to join our growing Premium Audit Team. This is a fully remote work-from-home role, offering the flexibility and autonomy you need to thrive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Premium Audit department, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Administratively assist the Premium Audit department in their daily operations, including research, resolution, and documentation of customer concerns and inquiries.

  • Develop knowledge of insurance products, documents, and industry practices to provide informed and effective customer support.
  • Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to inform customers about products or services.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with necessary teams and refer complex issues to more experienced staff.
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions.
  • Work within guidance to arrange and prioritize activities to efficiently meet business objectives, while focusing on continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Scope of Job/Qualifications

* Develop methodical yet swift decision-making skills to meet customer needs.

  • Develop knowledge of insurance products, documents, and industry practices.
  • Possess working customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop communication skills that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of various customers.

Requirements

* High School Diploma is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

  • Administrative support experience with an insurance carrier or agency is required; Premium Audit support experience is preferred.
  • Sedentary work environment, requiring prolonged sitting and continuous use of computer.
  • Occasional travel (1 time per year) to departmental meetings and training sessions may be required.
