A Day in the Life as a Healthcare Customer Service Representative
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, and you'll play a critical role in helping them navigate the billing process and resolve their outstanding balances. You'll work closely with patients to understand their concerns, provide empathetic support, and help them find solutions to their financial challenges. Your day will be filled with:
- Active listening and problem-solving to resolve patient concerns
- Negotiating and collecting payments to help patients manage their medical balances
- Providing excellent customer service, even in challenging situations
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and support
- Staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in healthcare billing and finance
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Experience in healthcare billing and finance, including a strong understanding of HIPAA
- Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal)
- Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Work Schedule
We offer three flexible schedule options to accommodate your needs:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
