Responsibilities

As a Dental Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering Telephone Calls: Answering telephone calls using an automated system and responding to basic customer questions and/or forwarding to appropriate personnel.
  • Providing Consultancy: Providing consultancy utilizing knowledge and expertise on insurance and healthcare, and/or forwarding calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Processing Calls: Processing calls in a manner that ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
  • Recording Calls: Recording calls, processing requests and updating account history with results of inquiry to include proper documentation.
  • Interfacing with Team Members: Interfaces with team members, management, and customers in reference to customer service issues.
  • Reviewing Procedures: Reviews and recommends modification to procedures and workflow as necessary to ensure efficient and effective processing of transactions.
  • Maintaining Composure: Maintains composure in escalated situations.
  • Operating Accurately: Operates accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handling Multiple Responsibilities: Handles multiple responsibilities at one time.
  • Conducting Outbound Calls: Conducts outbound calls to members in response to customer direction or other business needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GED or High School Diploma: GED or high school diploma required, some college preferred.
  • Dental Customer Support Experience: A minimum of six (6) months experience in a dental customer support capacity required.
  • Previous Experience: 1 year of previous experience for a government or private sector inbound customer service center preferred.
  • Prior Work-at-Home Experience: Prior work-at-home experience desired.
  • Typing Speed: Typing speed of 25 WPM with 90% accuracy required.
  • Knowledge of Software: Knowledge of basic help desk software, computer software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to bring inquiries to effective resolution.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on written and oral communication to respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Teamwork: Ability to understand your role on a team and identify the correct stakeholders to consult to resolve client inquiries.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Manages emotions and maintains positive energy.
  • Passion for Performance: Passion for meeting or exceeding performance goals.

Work at Home Requirements

To work from home, you will need:

  • High-Speed Internet: High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection, no Wi-Fi, Satellite or Cellular Hotspot or Cellular Internet.
  • Upload Speed: Upload speed of 5 Mbps; Download speed of 50 Mbps
  • ISP Stability: The Internet service provider (ISP) must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss Latency under 100ms.
  • Cell Phone or Tablet: All Hires must have an available cell phone or tablet and be able to install our required 2FA software for Multifactor authentication on that device.
  • Equipment: Qualfon will provide all or some of the equipment needed based on the employees' request.

Pay Range
