Remote Independent Travel Advisor
Overview
J & J Travel Excursions is seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy travel planning, customer service, research, and helping clients create memorable vacation experiences. This is a remote, independent contractor role for individuals interested in supporting clients with vacation planning, including cruises, all-inclusive resorts, group travel, family vacations, special celebrations, tours, and travel experiences. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable communicating with clients, willing to learn supplier platforms, and committed to providing excellent service from the first inquiry through post-travel follow-up. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with researching vacation options, resorts, cruises, tours, and travel packages
- Provide professional recommendations based on client needs, budget, travel dates, and destination preferences
- Prepare travel quotes and itinerary options
- Communicate clearly with clients by phone, email, text, or virtual meeting
- Follow up with clients regarding payments, deadlines, documents, and travel updates
- Complete required supplier and agency training
- Maintain accurate client notes and booking information
- Provide excellent service before, during, and after travel
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Basic computer, email, and internet research skills
- Must be professional, coachable, and dependable
Compensation: This is an independent contractor role. Compensation is commission-based and varies based on completed travel bookings. This is not an hourly or salaried position. Schedule: Flexible schedule. Full/Part-time availability is acceptable.
