Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications teams
- Validating ship-to and replenishment locations of orders with sales and operations partners
- Ensuring accurate PO (Bill Only, Ship and Bills, GHX, and other future EDI platforms) entry, pushing back where necessary to resolve data discrepancies
- Checking and validating accuracy of incoming surgery product usage cases
- Developing creative solutions to customer issues, providing phone support for inquiries from sales and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
- Providing proactive updates on order status to accelerate billing process
- Supporting Sales Department by providing answers to questions generated by telephone, emails, and fax, researching responses with sales
- Building relationships with hospital billing specialists and supporting surgery product usage questions to accelerate billing process, following up to collect purchase orders and clarify discrepancies
- Supporting Sales Reps in case of product usage pricing or discrepancies
What You Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years' relevant work experience
- Experience as an account representative or in a similar customer-facing role
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Oracle or similar CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in the healthcare industry or a related field
- Knowledge of EDI platforms and PO entry processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
