Sales Development Representative (SDR) | Growth Path to AE

Responsibilities
- Generate qualified pipeline through daily outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels).
- Research and identify target accounts and the right contacts within those accounts.
- Create compelling hooks and run structured outreach sequences that drive replies, conversations, and meetings.
- Proactively source and “recruit conversations” with currently employed SDRs and other high performers on LinkedIn and beyond.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, needs, urgency, and buying process.
- Book qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives and ensure clean handoffs with strong notes and context.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, notes, dispositions, and next steps.
- Partner with Marketing to test messaging, offers, and campaigns and provide feedback from the market.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership and Account Executives on targeting, account strategy, and meeting quality.
- Continuously improve conversion rates from outreach to meeting set to meeting held.
Requirements
- 1+ years in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, recruiting, or other quota-driven role (or equivalent proven performance).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence on the phone.
- Comfort with high volume outbound activity and professional follow-up.
- Experience using a CRM and sales tools, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Highly organized with strong time management in a remote environment.
Nice-to-haves
- SaaS, telecommunications, or technology sales experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce (or similar CRM), LinkedIn, and modern sales tools.
- Experience selling into automotive, dealerships, franchises, or multi-location businesses.
- Proven track record of exceeding activity targets and booking high quality meetings.
