About the Role
As a Pharmaceutical Sales Customer Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing customer engagement strategies that drive business growth and patient satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and medical affairs, to identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve patient care and outcomes. Your expertise in customer engagement, sales, and marketing will enable you to build strong relationships with healthcare providers and patients, and to develop and execute effective customer engagement strategies that drive business growth and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

- Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and patients to understand their needs and preferences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve patient care and outcomes
- Develop and execute effective customer engagement plans that drive business growth and patient satisfaction
- Analyze customer data and market trends to inform customer engagement strategies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, and payers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure that customer engagement strategies are aligned with industry best practices
Minimum Qualifications
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field
- Must reside within commutable distance of 50 miles of the primary city in the sales territory
- Strong understanding of customer engagement principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotechnology) or related industry engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players (e.g., payers, health systems)
- 4 or more years' experience working in a sales role with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products and working across a complex healthcare system environment
- Clinical nurse or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) experience highly valued
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation
- Proven track record in coaching, training, and/or mentoring peers or others as assigned; helping such others to better meet or exceed their goals, targets, and other responsibilities
- Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals
- Ability to seek out relevant information, prioritize, and apply information to solve complex problems in the ecosystem
- Ability to assimilate and communicate complex clinical and product information
- Knowledge of and ability to successfully addressing operational issues in the delivery of healthcare products to patients, such as reimbursement and supply

Compensation and Benefits
* Salary range: $104,640.00 - $149,600.00, plus incentive opportunity
