Backend Python Developer (AI Training) About The Role What if your Python expertise could directly influence how the next generation of AI understands, writes, and reasons about code? We're looking for experienced Backend Python Developers to work alongside the world's leading AI research labs — evaluating AI-generated code, building complex algorithmic challenges, and helping push the boundaries of what AI can do. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for seasoned Python engineers who want to put their skills to work on something genuinely cutting-edge.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated Python code for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to PEP 8 and production-quality standards
• Design and develop complex backend algorithmic solutions and data processing scripts that challenge AI reasoning at its limits
• Write clear, human-readable explanations for backend logic, architectural decisions, and code behaviour
• Identify edge cases, security vulnerabilities, and logical flaws in AI-generated API and backend logic
• Provide structured, detailed feedback that directly shapes how AI models learn to write better code

Who You Are

• Deep Python expertise — you've written production-level Python and it shows
• 3–5+ years of professional backend development experience
• Solid command of modern Python frameworks including Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Strong grasp of advanced language features, design patterns, and software architecture principles
• Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, RLHF, or AI evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with API security best practices and vulnerability identification
• Background in algorithm design, competitive programming, or systems-level development
• Experience writing technical documentation or code reviews at scale
