Your Role and Impact

As a Full Stack Customer Success Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading and owning technical engagements with our public sector customers. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver the best cloud HPC experience to users, building meaningful relationships and going above and beyond to ensure their success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming a trusted technical advisor and owning the technical relationship with customers
  • Leading technical activities from deployment to user training and support
  • Collaborating with arenaflex Solutions Architects to plan and execute successful deployments of arenaflex solutions
  • Analyzing technical needs, requirements, and customer infrastructure to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Onboarding new customer workflows and growing arenaflex's footprint in the public sector
  • Gaining deep knowledge of customer workflows and HPC environments
  • Working with customers to define and execute their digital transformation strategy, migrating workloads from on-prem to the cloud
  • Articulating and presenting arenaflex solutions at conferences, user groups, webinars, and other events
  • Collaborating with Product Management to provide feedback and improve the design of our ScaleX platform

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience working on complex technical challenges within the defense or public sector
  • A customer-obsessed mindset, with a focus on empathy and understanding customer needs
  • A passion for solving difficult problems and finding innovative solutions
  • At least 2 years of software, hardware, or cloud experience in a customer-facing role
  • A B.S. in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or equivalent
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical topics in an easy-to-understand manner

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • 3 years of enterprise cloud, hardware, or software technical experience
  • General knowledge in at least one of the HPC disciplines (such as CFD, FEA, Molecular Dynamics, Weather Forecasting, Computational Chemistry, Reservoir (Seismic) Simulation, Media Rendering, Machine Learning, Financial, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise customers in one or more of the industry verticals we serve, including aerospace, automotive, life sciences, oil & gas, semiconductor, EDA, federal sector
  • Experience with at least one of the HPC simulation software packages (such as ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, COMSOL, AVL, Altair, PTC, Cadence, Synopsys, Autodesk, OpenFOAM, LAMMPS, GROMACS, NAMD, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present highly technical topics in an easy-to-understand manner
  • M.S. in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and coordinate colleagues across diverse teams and locations
  • Demonstrate understanding of HPC, scheduler, IaaS, scripting languages, and how these tools are used and deployed by customers
