Responsibilities
As a Retail Energy Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for commercial customers, providing exceptional service and support via phone, email, fax, and internet. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for commercial customers, addressing inquiries and complaints with professionalism and attention to detail
- Promoting the value of arenaflex products and services during every customer interaction
- Issuing orders, analyzing accounts, and resolving billing issues efficiently
- Negotiating payment options and deposits, and guiding customers through various energy services
- Conducting outbound calls as needed to follow up on service issues or account updates
- Managing escalations with calm, solution-oriented communication
- Utilizing internal systems, software, and resources to research and resolve account issues
- Recommending process or system improvements based on recurring issues or inefficiencies
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of customer service or account support experience, ideally in a call center or technical support setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Basic math and analytical skills to interpret billing data
- Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet access and a professional home workspace
