The Role: Customer Operations Specialist – Auto Claims
As a Customer Operations Specialist in our Auto Claims team, you will play a critical role in investigating, billing, and maximizing payments on medical claims to insurance companies on behalf of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Making high-volume, outbound calls to investigate and research details of auto accidents to determine who the payer will be
- Submitting bills and proper documentation to the insurance company to ensure maximized payments to our clients
- Determining follow-up steps and resubmitting bills for additional payment when necessary
- Contributing to your team with various denial reports, audits, and overall support
Training and Support
Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. Our training begins on your first day and lasts 8-10 business days, led by experienced instructors who incorporate interactive discussions and hands-on activities to accommodate diverse learning preferences. You'll also have access to a robust knowledgebase for continued reference in your role and visibility to your individual performance metrics to set goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
- Ability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics
- Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is a plus, but not required
- A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home
- A secure internet connection with speeds >20 Mbps for downloads and >10 Mbps for uploads
- Must reside in the United States within one of the states listed below: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and West Virginia
