Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Specialist, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional support to our customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Answering every incoming call promptly: This is a non-negotiable aspect of the role, and you'll be expected to answer calls in a timely and professional manner.
Actively listening
to understand the caller's request or concern, and providing empathetic and solution-focused responses.
- Handling and resolving requests directly: You'll be responsible for resolving requests that fall under the following categories:
+ Creating a new account + Booking a parking spot + Updating payment methods + Providing rates or availability for specific locations + Answering general questions about our recent Store My Truck acquisition
- Escalating requests outside these categories: When necessary, you'll clearly document the customer's needs or issue and escalate to the appropriate internal team without delay.
- Demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills: You'll be expected to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and to resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining a customer-first attitude: You'll be expected to stay calm under pressure and to prioritize customer satisfaction above all else.
- Ensuring accurate documentation of all calls and actions taken: You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and for documenting all actions taken.
