Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sr Director, Customer and Marketing Data, Applied AI, and Analytics to join our team. As a Sr Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the long-term vision of our data product portfolio, driving business outcomes, and leading a team of experts in customer and marketing data, applied AI, and analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring products to market, enhance existing products and processes, and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sr Director, Customer and Marketing Data, Applied AI, and Analytics, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing the long-term vision of our data product portfolio, driving strategies, requirements, and roadmaps, and influencing enterprise decisions
  • Owning and leading the customer, loyalty, and marketing data ecosystem, serving the customer and marketing organization with actionable analytics to support delivering top-line sales and productivity improvements
  • Developing a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging two-way door initiatives that address customer needs
  • Owning annual planning for the product portfolio, representing the team in discussions with executives, and defining processes and measurements for the team to effectively track development work and triage bugs
  • Partnering with relevant stakeholders, leading and owning the development of launch and go-to-market plans of products within the product portfolio
  • Identifying issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of products in the product portfolio, communicating to leadership, assessing alternatives to resolve, and taking action to resolve
  • Ensuring customer and business goals remain aligned with identified customer needs, setting the strategy for customer engagement, and leading its execution
  • Engaging with internal and external thought leaders to drive product leadership within the portfolio
  • Leading and owning operational product strategy of the portfolio or strategic capability, ensuring alignment with other portfolio owners
  • Facilitating an understanding among the team of broader organizational goals and the role each team plays, auditing team goals, and being accountable for product portfolio performance against broader organizational goals
  • Leading a team in support of achieving the company's mission, managing performance, and fostering an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential
  • Leveraging data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of assigned products and related P&L impacts, and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Developing and presenting communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient
  • Monitoring technology trends and anticipating their impact on the product roadmap, leveraging this understanding to drive innovation
  • Collaborating with the broader product and technology management community to understand dependencies and create a community of practice

Required Qualifications

* 12 years of experience in software engineering, data science, and/or product management

  • 7 years of direct team leadership experience across software engineering, product management, or data science
  • Prior experience in marketing, customer, and retail media networks analytics, building, deploying, and operationalizing highly scalable, resilient, and critical data technology solutions solving business problems in a product model
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with software development teams to launch online products

  • Experience with large-scale order management and inventory systems
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems
  • Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $179,000.00 - $340,100.00 annually, depending on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
