Experienced Full Stack Technical Writer – Cloud Database Documentation

Job Summary

As an Experienced Full Stack Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation for arenaflex's Cloud Database service, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and guidelines for how customers do business. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and UI partners to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers along these journeys. You will also collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive and prioritize technical writing, mentor and support other authors on the Cloud Databases team, and continually improve practices to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

* Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for the Cloud Database service, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and guidelines for how customers do business.

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and UI partners to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers along these journeys.
• Collaborate with Cloud Database authors to continually improve practices and deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive and prioritize technical writing.
• Mentor and support other authors on the Cloud Databases team.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of arenaflex's Cloud Database products and services, including features, functionality, and technical specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve documentation and user experience.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of technical writing experience, preferably in a related role creating technical documentation for a technical audience, preferably for enterprise cloud services.
• Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud products.
• HTML or Markdown skills; Unix environment skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven communication and team skills and strong initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a related role, creating technical documentation for a technical audience, preferably for enterprise cloud services.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, availability, and security.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, concise language.
