Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Part Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you'll be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to inform business decisions and drive growth. You'll work closely with our data science team to develop and implement data-driven solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve business processes and outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes
- Work closely with the data science team to develop and implement data analytics models and algorithms
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain expertise in data analysis tools and technologies, including SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Power BI
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions to meet those needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve data analysis and business outcomes
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one industry-standard data analysis tool (e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques and tools
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives
- Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
