Job Description

As an Online Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for handling all incoming internet, email, social media, text, chat, and phone inquiries in a prompt, professional, and well-spoken manner. You'll work closely with our sales and management staff to assist customers in selecting the right vehicle, provide product information, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle all incoming internet, email, social media, text, chat, and phone inquiries in a prompt, professional, and well-spoken manner

  • Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle, providing product information, and ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Conceptualize and understand the psychology of internet customers and work with them accordingly to set an appointment for a proper vehicle demonstration
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
  • Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly
  • Work with all Sales and Management staff to obtain customer satisfaction during dealership experience

Skills and Requirements:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Availability to work Monday through Sunday from 8:30am to 7pm, or any variation ranging during open business hours
  • Ability to adhere to attendance guidelines, requiring regular attendance as an essential job function
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivation and goal orientation
  • Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentages
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry

  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and its products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their applications in customer service
  • Experience in sales and customer service in the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding of the psychology of internet customers and their needs
