About the Role

As a Document Controller | Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in managing and entering data related to 401k statements within the financial services industry. This remote position requires high precision in data entry and document management, with a focus on effective communication and timely processing of documents. You'll be working with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional results and making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

As a Document Controller | Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and interpreting 401k statements to extract relevant data with high accuracy
  • Entering and maintaining data in a new database with precision and attention to detail
  • Leveraging Google Docs for data entry and record management to ensure seamless document control
  • Communicating effectively with the team via Slack or similar chat platforms to ensure timely processing of documents
  • Handling 7-10 documents on a daily basis, ensuring a 24-hour turnaround on processing forms
  • Providing assistance with reporting needs as required to support business growth and development
  • Navigating complex documents comfortably and efficiently to ensure accurate data entry and management
  • Working flexibly with the ability to connect on East Coast time to support global operations
  • Utilizing a proprietary in-house database and PDFs for data handling and management to ensure data integrity and security

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Proven proficiency in 401k - RRSP Administration, with a deep understanding of the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated skills in data entry with a high level of accuracy, including attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong experience in document control, including organizing, storing, and managing documents to ensure seamless document flow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of self-motivation and accountability

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working with proprietary in-house databases and PDFs for data handling and management
  • Familiarity with Google Docs and other cloud-based document management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork
