Experienced Customer Service/Quote Representative – Water and Industrial Solutions

Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Quote Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer orders, and generating quotes for our products. You will work closely with our sales team, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Key Responsibilities

* Enter customer orders into the Global Shop ERP system

  • Update and allocate inventory
  • Follow up with customers on orders and quotes for lead times and price changes
  • Manage the production of quotes, including outlining, content, required forms, deadlines, and coordination with internal personnel
  • Coordinate with key internal personnel to complete various sections of the quotes and drive to completion
  • Follow up and track performance of quotes
  • Identify potential problems ahead of time and coordinate with customers and the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products
  • Interface with salesmen and Costa Rica staff on a constant basis to ensure inventory levels are kept at optimum levels
  • Anticipate customers' future needs
  • Review RFQs to understand their intent, requirements, details, timing, and scope
  • Establish timing plans to accomplish SOWs
  • Perform risk analysis of projects as required
  • Manage and coordinate incoming requests for proposals, prioritizing and scheduling team members to meet customer requirements

Requirements

* High school diploma or GED

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying close attention to details
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management while maintaining a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficient with MS Word and PowerPoint, and utilize Excel at an advanced level
  • Work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and deadline-oriented environment
  • Project Management training and experience is a plus
  • Capable of calculating shipments with associated costs and delivery schedules, including shipment sizing
