Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from patients and caregivers with compassion, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach
  • Assisting with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences
  • Retrieving information to assist caregivers with payroll-related inquiries, providing accurate and timely support
  • Utilizing de-escalation techniques to support upset or frustrated callers, resolving issues efficiently and effectively
  • Offering guidance and directions to caregivers and patients to resolve issues, providing clear and concise instructions
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary, maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • At least one year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support
  • Ability to offer empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor at all times, even in challenging situations
  • Ability to handle sensitive calls and de-escalate emotionally charged situations, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor
  • Great active listening skills, with the ability to understand and address customer concerns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process and document information
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Quality-focused mindset with a desire to achieve first call resolution, continuously striving for excellence in customer service

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience in a healthcare-related customer service role, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges
  • Familiarity with Medicaid programs, with knowledge of the relevant policies and procedures
