Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant to join our team and support our customer-facing operations. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Processing incoming customer inquiries via email, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger
  • Conducting valuations of goods for trade-in customers, using online marketplaces like eBay as a reference
  • Issuing postage labels and ensuring customers receive their payments
  • Listing goods on eBay, when capacity allows
  • Responding to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

* Process incoming customer inquiries and respond to customers in a timely and professional manner

  • Conduct valuations of goods for trade-in customers, taking into account desired profit margins, postage costs, and other factors
  • Issue postage labels and ensure customers receive their payments
  • List goods on eBay, when capacity allows
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives and improve processes

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a virtual or remote setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct research and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in using online marketplaces like eBay and social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a trade-in or e-commerce environment

  • Knowledge of eBay's policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Experience with listing and managing inventory on online marketplaces
