Job Summary
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with our data scientists and analysts to apply established scientific processes to various datasets, extracting insights and addressing real-world business challenges. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all documentation and analytical tasks are completed to the highest standard, consistently seeking opportunities to enhance your technical skills and acquire new ones.
Key Responsibilities
* 30% Execute existing data entry and analytical tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- 20% Utilize data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests
- 20% Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- 20% Develop additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team
- 10% Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis contributes to the overall strategy
Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports
This position reports to a Supervisor and has no immediate reports.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel under 10% of the time may be required.
Physical Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with continuous opportunities to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.
Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area, with rare and non-offensive exposure to adverse conditions.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., software engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related quantitative field)
- 2 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, reporting, and/or estimation
- Previous direct experience in investigating the relevant topic (e.g., inventory network, marketing, operations, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or similar data set frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present findings in easily understood ways
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms
