Responsibilities
As an E-Service Chat Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through our chat platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers, contractors, and business partners via inbound and outbound chat sessions, ensuring that all interactions are handled in a professional and businesslike manner
- Explaining and upholding contract coverage to customers and contractors, providing clear and concise information to resolve any issues or concerns
- Following up with customers, contractors, and business partners to ensure that customer service issues are resolved and that customers are satisfied with the experience
- Maintaining current knowledge of all policies, procedures, programs, and completing required continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
- May assume other duties as assigned by management
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 1+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a call center or chat environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using chat platforms and software
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
- Customer service experience and/or training is a plus
Essential Functions
* Ability to be on video call as required during working hours
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits
