We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas (US-AR), United States (US). The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing Project Management Office support for a state Medicaid Program. Working under the direction of the team manager, they will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables. In collaboration with other NTT DATA consultants, the selected candidate will work directly with state business owners and vendors to support the analysis, planning, design, UAT, implementation and evaluation of key system changes, projects, and processes to help the client achieve organizational goals. Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the State client and PMO Managers in technical and operational activities for management and oversight of the Eligibility & Enrollment (E&E) and MMIS systems
  • Lead or direct projects in a multi-vendor environment as needed and coordinate efforts between various state agencies and divisions
  • Document project status, conduct meetings and coordinate efforts in a multi-vendor technical environment
  • Identify and report project issues and risks
  • Develop and present formal presentations to business leaders, vendors, and team members, making applicable recommendations
  • Research and provide recommendations to the client on technical problems/decisions
  • Collaborate with team members to provide technical subject matter expertise and assistance
  • Ensure PMO identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed
  • Leverage knowledge of the state technical environments and apply it when appropriate
  • Attend requirements sessions and various technical related meetings to learn functionality that is proposed to be incorporated into both E&E and MMIS systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting, developing or implementing large scale systems and technical environments
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with system development methodology and application of project management principles and best practices
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working with Integrated Eligibility Systems and MMIS regarding State policy, benefits determination and/or the management and operations for a state agency following the lifecycle of a Medicaid member from the Eligibility system through financials of MMIS.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience conducting reviews of system development life cycle documentation, project and technical architecture and design deliverables/artifacts
  • Undergraduate degree or 4 years’ additional relevant experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent industry recognized Project Management certification

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors
  • Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $81,625 - $145,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
