Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage the end-to-end payroll function for our remote workforce. This fully remote role requires precision, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of South African payroll legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees Calculate and reconcile salaries, overtime, leave pay, bonuses, and deductions Ensure compliance with PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other statutory obligations Prepare and submit EMP201, EMP501, and IRP5 returns via SARS eFiling Maintain accurate payroll records and employee remuneration data Resolve payroll queries from employees and management promptly Liaise with HR and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment Qualifications and Experience 2+ years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role Proficiency in payroll software (Sage Payroll, PaySpace, VIP, or similar) Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation and SARS requirements High attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data Ability to handle sensitive payroll information with strict confidentiality Good Excel skills for payroll reconciliations and reporting Organised and able to meet strict payroll deadlines independently Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Payroll Administration preferred Salary: R25,000/month | 100% Remote Apply To This Job
