Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Networks
In this position, you will treat our network infrastructure as a dynamic, programmable product rather than static hardware. Your primary mission is to architect and build our Internal Developer Platform (IDP)—creating reusable backend services, declarative Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules, and intuitive self-service portals. By abstracting away the underlying complexity of cloud network constructs, you will enable Ford's global product teams to consume infrastructure safely and instantaneously without needing to be network experts. We are looking for a technical leader who champions modern software craftsmanship. You will bring rigorous engineering practices—like API-First design, automated testing, and advanced CI/CD—directly into the cloud networking space. You won't just be writing automation scripts; you will be engineering the foundational software systems that drive Ford's digital transformation.
