Network Engineer - Level III

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge and hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT environments, with a strong focus on networking, routing, virtualization, and cloud technologies. \n

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex IT infrastructure and networking issues. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot: Firewalls Managed switches Routers Wireless networking equipment Support and administer VMware virtual environments and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. Monitor network performance, security, and system availability. Assist with server administration, backups, disaster recovery, and system upgrades. Support and troubleshoot IP and cloud-based phone systems. Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues. Maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and systems. Participate in project planning, deployments, migrations, and infrastructure improvements. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 5+ years of IT support or systems/network administration experience. Strong real-world experience with: Networking and routing Firewalls and network security Managed switches VMware virtualization Microsoft Azure Experience supporting IP/Cloud phone systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Industry certifications such as: CompTIA Network+ Cisco CCNA VMware VCP Microsoft Azure certifications Experience in K-12, higher education, or government environments is a plus.
