Role Overview
As a Seasonal Online Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for handling email support for a UK leading retail brand. This role is entirely remote, with the flexibility to work from home on a freelance contractual basis, with the potential to continue working full-time following a successful seasonal period.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, brief, and coordinate customer service responses generated from our client accounts on a daily basis
- Report into an Account Manager
- Effectively respond to all Customer Support tickets
- Pro-actively escalate and spot potential PR threats, and follow support briefs
- Initiate and sustain relationships with clients and prospects, as assigned to you by your Account Manager
Essential Qualifications
* 2 years of experience in online customer service (email/live chat)
- Strong writing, organization, and communication skills
- Previous experience delivering online customer support using CRM systems such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, or Salesforce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb time management
- Copywriting and proofreading skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to respond to customers in a timely manner
- Proficiency in using Slack, Google Suite, Microsoft Teams, and collaboration tools
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Interest in moving into a Team Leader or Account Manager role in the future
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of digital customer management tools and how to undertake online customer service
- Previous experience working with a similar client base
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
