Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Medical Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, resolving issues in a timely manner, and maintaining a working knowledge of workflow systems. You'll work closely with our supervisor to ensure all calls are answered and handled appropriately, while providing high-quality service to callers within company guidelines. This is a fully remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and identify issues from calls into the telephony system in a timely manner (50%)
- Maintain a working knowledge of workflow systems to properly assign follow-up dates, department requests, and notate appropriately (10%)
- Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately while providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines (10%)
- Perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance (10%)
- Assist with clerical duties as needed, such as email, facsimile, etc. (10%)
- Requires close supervision and guidance from the supervisor (10%)
Essential Qualifications
* 1+ years of medical revenue cycle experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in workflow systems and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding principles
- Certification in medical revenue cycle management (e.g., CPC, CMRS)
