Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing a significant volume of inbound calls, averaging between 70-120 calls daily, to address policyholder inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining effective communication with policyholders, providers, and third parties to ensure seamless interactions and resolve issues efficiently.
- Staying informed about new and updated procedures regarding policy information to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Ensuring customer needs are met in every interaction, whether conducted via phone, email, or written correspondence, to build trust and loyalty.
- Meeting established department standards for call volume, average call handling time, and effective time management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office to navigate our systems and tools.
- Strong typing skills, with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute, to efficiently process customer information.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple calls simultaneously.
- Ability to multi-task and perform efficiently under pressure to meet customer needs and expectations.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center or similar role where daily phone interaction is essential.
- Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Preference for individuals with remote work experience, although not mandatory.
- A reliable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speed (hard-wired connection is necessary).
- Possession of a smartphone to access the VPN.
- Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous but not required.
- A quiet and professional home office environment is required.
Career Growth Opportunities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll receive comprehensive training aimed at enhancing your skills in first-contact resolution and customer satisfaction, paving the way for potential career advancement within the company. Our training program includes:
- A full-time training program lasting 2-3 weeks, conducted Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST.
- Availability for training during the weekdays between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM CST is required.
Post-Training Schedule
Following training, you'll work 40 hours per week on a Monday-Friday schedule, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is available.

* A smartphone is required for VPN access, with all other necessary equipment provided by the company.

This is a full-time remote position, welcoming candidates from across the nation, with some exceptions.
