Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to incoming calls from Aetna Medicaid members and providers, addressing their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Handling a variety of requests, including eligibility, provider changes, and ID card requests, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide accurate information to customers.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or healthcare.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of call center operations and metrics.
- Knowledge of Medicaid and federal health insurance regulations and policies.
