About the Role

As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Listening carefully: Evaluate each caller's situation and provide appropriate solutions to resolve their issues.
  • Handling emergencies: React and respond decisively in emergency situations, ensuring the customer's safety and well-being.
  • Providing empathy: Exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call, handling stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
  • Multi-tasking: Find answers while on the call, using your problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues efficiently.

Schedule and Compensation

* Flexible schedule: Choose your own hours, with day, night, and weekend shifts available.

  • Client hours: Our clients operate 24/7, ensuring you'll have opportunities to work at times that suit you.
  • Compensation: Earn a competitive rate of $0.28 per customer interaction minute, with a minimum guarantee of 45 minutes per available hour. Bilingual contractors can earn up to $0.31 per minute, with a 48-minute minimum guarantee.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Caring and sympathetic demeanor: Provide exceptional customer service, handling each caller with empathy and understanding.

  • Strong customer service skills: Active listening, problem-solving, and multi-tasking are essential for success in this role.
  • Prior experience: While not required, prior experience with driver assistance programs is a bonus.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English is required, with bilingual contractors needing to be fluent in English and Spanish or English and French.

Technical Requirements

* Quiet workspace: Ensure a quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours.

  • Broadband internet: Use a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS.
  • Windows operating system: Use Windows 10 or Windows 11, with valid antivirus software installed and up to date.
  • Wired USB headset: Use a wired USB headset with microphone, with a gaming headset not accepted.
  • Smartphone or tablet: Have a smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad, and be willing to install an authentication app related to program work.

Contractual Relationship

As an independent contractor with arenaflex, you'll have a contractual relationship with us. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment, and we'll not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings. When you receive your contract, you'll be asked to agree to have no claim against arenaflex for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
