Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services, utilizing telespeech methods to provide support to students. This role is based in Yankton, SD, and involves working directly with school-aged children to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services via telespeech platforms to students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and progress
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA
- Experience with school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Proficiency in telespeech technology and remote service delivery
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid state licensure as a speech-language pathologist
