The Role

As a Customer Service Specialist - Entry Level, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and resolve issues quickly will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with customers by responding to their requests with a sense of urgency and driving their orders through to completion.

  • Acknowledge orders, obtain engineering input on parts, and coordinate with the Purchasing team for parts orders.
  • Prepare spare parts proposals for customers and enter orders into our ERP system.
  • Prepare packages and bills of lading for outgoing shipments and expedite deliveries per customer requests.
  • Maintain records between Smart Sheet and Epicor, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Serve as a liaison with manufacturing, engineering, and shipping, streamlining operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • 0-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of responsiveness and sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a remote or call center environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Epicor or similar software.
  • Knowledge of spare parts management and inventory control.
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM).
