Job Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative - Affiliates, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service via email and phone for policy inquiries, billing, and claims processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex cases to senior team members
  • Entering account information in the agency management system and issuing policies following department procedures
  • Communicating with agents regarding payment status, billing problems, and coverage questions
  • Collaborating with customers, agents, and staff to gather application data and claims processes
  • Preparing emails and letters for correspondence with customers and agents

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of general business, insurance, or related experience
  • CISR designation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, we're looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with agency management systems
  • Familiarity with church operations and ministries market
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to work well under pressure
